Catch the Buzz to help fund literacy programs!
Join us at the College of Charleston’s Emmett Robinson Theatre in the Simons Center for the Arts on Tuesday, October 18th, for LifeManagement Center's first annual Corporate Spelling Bee. All proceeds support the works of LMC's literacy programs benefiting schools and students in our community.
In the Corporate Spelling Bee, adults representing local businesses and organizations compete in teams. Corporate teams consist of three (3) spellers and one (1) alternate. Registration deadline is October 4th. A Spirit Award will be given to the team with the most enthusiastic cheerleaders in the audience.

LifeManagement Center’s literacy programs include the Reading REWARDSprogram, which is provided free of charge to Charleston County public school students in participating schools. The research-validated REWARDS program is used nationally and is ideal for 5th-8th grade students who have at least second grade reading skills, but struggle to comprehend their textbooks. Over 320 students have participated in the program since 2007 in participating schools, including Fort Johnson Middle School, Cario Middle School, St. Andrew's Middle School, West Ashley Middle School, James Island Middle School, Memminger School of Global Studies, Whitesides Elementary School, Hursey Elementary School, Mitchell Math and Science Elementary School, Charlestowne Academy and Military Magnet Academy.
