Do You Need SOLUTIONS??
Call (843) 852-5705 to arrange a consultation with one of our Learning
Specialists.
Consultations
Your first step at LifeManagement Center is always a consultation.
This is a one-hour meeting with a learning specialist and is designed
to go over strengths, weaknesses, existing diagnoses, previous testing,
family history and educational history. The learning specialist will
then design and coordinate a plan of action.

LifeManagement Center's Medical Committee sets guidelines for all
referrals outside of our center. Referrals are based on
individual needs and can include but are not limited to:
• Medical Intervention
• Counseling
• Occupational, Speech, and Language Therapy
Psychoeducational Testing (Children, Adolescents, and Adults)

Tutoring
(Pre-K – College)
Unlike most tutoring centers, all of our programs are individualized.
All tutors have a minimum of a 4 year college degree and are selected
based on their areas of expertise that match the needs of the student.
Tutors incorporate learning, organization, time management and study
strategies into their sessions to provide students with a solid foundation
for success. We maintain open communication with teachers and parents
in an effort to better serve our students.
Wilson Reading System
LifeManagement
Center
has helped many students who were unable to master reading through
more traditional instruction.
The
Wilson
Reading System directly and
systematically teaches students how to decode and spell fluently and
accurately.
The instruction is interactive and
multisensory with a fast pace that keeps students engaged.
The program teaches not just phonics,
but also total word construction.
Students
progress through the steps at an individualized rate. Data
analysis by top reading researchers confirms the Wilson program
provides the essential components and instruction to get results.
Rewards Reading
LifeManagement
Center
is now offering a new reading program,
Rewards,
for students who have not reached the level of reading proficiently
they need for school success.
Students are taught to use a flexible
strategy for reading long words to increase speed and accuracy.
The program is designed to target those
skills that are essential in reading textbooks.
Two levels of reading instruction are
offered for students in grades 4-6 (25 lessons) or grades 6-12 (20
lessons).
This program is research-based and has
proven to be successful in both national research and in our own
experience.
